Recently in the beginning of April, my fellow HUABJ members and I ventured to the Big Apple to visit over 14 network media companies and graduate schools! We met with senior staff members in the corporations, went on tours of the facilities and studios, networked and engaged with panelists. Some of our stops included the Apollo Theater in Harlem and Hearst Television. I participated as a panelist during our stop at Hearst Television, and was able to speak to my classmates about my journey as a news production intern with Hearst. Here are some pictures that highlight how amazing of an experience the trip was! I'm very grateful to the staff members and students involved in putting it together!
